HAPPY FOURTH

Red + Blue Velvet Cupcake Flag Cake!! // The Year in Food

Guys. I know! You’re probably, like, what? Who took over this vegetable-centric, seasonal blog? It’s an outtake from a Red + Blue Velvet Cupcake series that I made and shot for Williams-Sonoma. It is undoubtedly the most ridiculous thing that I’ve ever made, and I love it. Find the recipe here.

Also, this patriotic Potato Salad with Honey Mustard Vinaigrette for Etsy. I love potato salad. And apparently I like getting crazy with red, white and blue for the Fourth. Hope y’all have a blast.

  • Kristen - I can’t wait to make that potato salad!!

I commented a while ago mentioning that I was going to make your rhubarb breakfast cakes. Unfortunately I still haven’t gotten around to it (soon, I hope!), but I wanted to say that I recently made your turkey burgers and was absolutely delighted with the results. As a graduate student on a tight budget, it was really exciting to discover I can make burgers at home that are far healthier and tastier than those served at the gourmet burger joint down the street.

    Thanks Kimberly!

Hope the book is wrapping up well.ReplyCancel
