In July, I got the opportunity for a quick little overnight to the Stephanie Inn right on the ocean at Cannon Beach. Sometimes it only takes 24 hours to get a full and refreshing reset button on a busy life. Especially if that 24 hours involves the sound of ocean waves and the ripe, unmistakable scent of salt air. They invited me to join one of their Sojourns, an opportunity to spend time with local folks in food and drink and fine arts, hosted by their chef, Aaron Bedard.

Happy Hour with Netarts Bay oysters on the water. 


Delicious breakfast of huevos rancheros and fruit. They were super accommodating on the gluten-free front.
